environmental standards.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineering Manager to lead reservoir engineering strategy, subsurface evaluation, development planning, production optimization, reserves management, and reservoir-performance analysis.The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across reservoir studies and field-development programs, integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, production, and pressure data to support economically sound decisions throughout the reservoir lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement reservoir engineering strategies aligned with asset objectives and field-development plans.Lead reservoir engineering teams supporting exploration, appraisal, development, production, and mature-field activities.Evaluate reservoir performance and identify opportunities to maximize recovery and production.Lead integrated reservoir characterization and development studies with multidisciplinary subsurface teams.Analyze pressure, production, fluid, PVT, well-test, and reservoir surveillance data.Develop and maintain material-balance and analytical reservoir models.Build, calibrate, history-match, and update static and dynamic reservoir simulation models.Define reservoir modeling assumptions, workflows, uncertainty ranges, and quality standards.Evaluate reservoir connectivity, compartmentalization, drive mechanisms, pressure behavior, and fluid movement.Conduct production forecasting and reservoir-performance predictions under multiple development scenarios.Develop and evaluate field-development plans, depletion strategies, well-placement options, and recovery schemes.Assess infill drilling, sidetracks, workovers, recompletions, artificial-lift optimization, and other reservoir-management opportunities.Evaluate water injection, gas injection, pressure maintenance, enhanced oil recovery, and other improved-recovery strategies where applicable.Design and optimize reservoir surveillance programs, including pressure surveys, production logging, tracer studies, and other diagnostic activities.Monitor reservoir pressure, fluid contacts, water cut, gas-oil ratio, production decline, and recovery performance.Identify production anomalies, reservoir underperformance, unexpected fluid behavior, and potential well or reservoir constraints.Conduct root-cause analysis of reservoir-performance issues and recommend corrective actions.Integrate well-test results, pressure-transient analysis, interference testing, and production data into reservoir evaluations.Support well planning by defining reservoir targets, completion objectives, drainage areas, and expected performance.Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to optimize well placement and reservoir contact.Provide reservoir input into well intervention, stimulation, completion, and workover decisions.Evaluate reserves and resources in accordance with applicable industry standards and company guidelines.Prepare and review reserves estimates, production profiles, recovery factors, and uncertainty assessments.Support annual reserves reviews, asset planning, business planning, and long-range production forecasts.Assess reservoir uncertainty and develop probabilistic or scenario-based forecasts where appropriate.Evaluate technical and commercial risks associated with reservoir-development decisions.Develop economic comparisons of development options in collaboration with economics and commercial teams.Support investment decisions through production forecasts, recovery estimates, development scenarios, and technical risk assessments.Work closely with geology, geophysics, petrophysics, production engineering, drilling, completions, facilities, and operations teams.Lead integrated subsurface workshops, field-development reviews, technical assurance sessions, and decision gates.Establish reservoir-engineering standards, workflows, technical assurance processes, and documentation requirements.Review technical studies, simulation models, development plans, forecasts, and reservoir-management recommendations.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to reservoir engineers and multidisciplinary subsurface professionals.Manage external consultants, specialist studies, software providers, laboratories, and technical service companies.Define study scopes, technical deliverables, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.Monitor consultant and service-provider performance and ensure technical deliverables meet agreed standards.Support reservoir data acquisition, quality control, validation, and integration into subsurface databases.Promote effective use of reservoir engineering software, simulation platforms, data analytics, and visualization tools.Explore advanced analytics, machine learning, digital reservoir models, and automated workflows where they provide measurable technical value.Conduct technical peer reviews and ensure key reservoir decisions are supported by appropriate evidence and uncertainty analysis.Maintain accurate reservoir models, forecasts, assumptions, technical reports, and development documentation.Support regulatory, partner, joint-venture, and technical-review requirements related to reservoir performance and field development.Prepare technical presentations and management reports covering reservoir performance, reserves, forecasts, risks, and development opportunities.Identify continuous-improvement opportunities that increase recovery, improve forecast quality, reduce engineering, subsurface development, reservoir simulation, field development, or upstream energy operations, preferably across complex oil and gas assets.The candidate should demonstrate:Proven experience leading reservoir engineering teams and multidisciplinary subsurface studies.Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid behavior, pressure analysis, and production performance.Extensive experience with material-balance methods and reservoir simulation.Strong knowledge of history matching, forecasting, uncertainty analysis, and scenario evaluation.Experience with field-development planning and reservoir-management strategies.Knowledge of waterflooding, gas injection, pressure maintenance, and enhanced recovery methods.Strong understanding of well testing, pressure-transient analysis, production surveillance, and reservoir diagnostics.Experience evaluating infill drilling, well interventions, recompletions, and development optimization.Strong reserves and resources evaluation capabilities.Familiarity with applicable reserves-reporting and petroleum-engineering standards.Strong understanding of production forecasting and development economics.Experience working closely with geology, geophysics, petrophysics, production engineering, drilling, and facilities teams.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.Experience using industry-standard reservoir simulation, modeling, data-analysis, and visualization tools.Ability to assess uncertainty and communicate technical risks clearly to
