Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout UNCO OIL UNCO Oil is an independent exploration and production company under Anton Oilfield Services Group (ANTON), focused on uncovering hidden value through a non-consensus investment approach and unconventional insights. The company leverages ANTON’s strengths in exploration and development research, asset evaluation, and regional market platforms to identify premium opportunities. Supported by robust financing and commercial operations capabilities, UNCO Oil is positioned to deliver breakthrough value creation across its portfolio. Its integrated expertise in oilfield construction and management enables efficient project execution and long-term asset performance, offering professionals a dynamic environment to contribute to high-impact energy projects.About the RoleAs a Reservoir Geologist at UNCO OIL, you build the detailed geological understanding of our producing and appraisal reservoirs that drives how we develop and deplete them. You construct static geological and reservoir models — structural framework, stratigraphy, facies and petrophysical property distribution — that underpin well placement, infill drilling and reserves. Integrating core, log, seismic and production data, you characterize reservoir architecture, connectivity and heterogeneity, and you work hand-in-hand with reservoir engineers, petrophysicists and geophysicists to turn that understanding into field-development decisions. Your models and maps directly shape where and how we drill, and how much we ultimately recover. This is a hands-on, cross-discipline role at the center of how we grow value from the assets we own and operate.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and update 3D static geological and reservoir models: structural framework, stratigraphy, facies and property distribution.Integrate core, well-log, seismic and production data to characterize reservoir architecture, connectivity and heterogeneity.Define and justify development and infill well locations, targets and trajectories.Provide geological input to volumetrics, reserves estimation, uncertainty analysis and reservoir simulation.Support development geology during drilling: well-site geology, geosteering and formation evaluation.Prepare technical reports and present reservoir descriptions and development recommendations to management and partners.Required QualificationsPhD in Geology, Geoscience, Reservoir Geology or a related discipline.10+ years of development / reservoir geology experience with an operator or consultancy.Proficiency in Petrel or equivalent static-modeling and interpretation software.Strong integration of geological, petrophysical, geophysical and production data into reservoir models.Fluent English.Preferred / Nice to HaveCarbonate and/or unconventional reservoir experience.Experience linking static models to dynamic reservoir simulation.Middle East, Central Asia or Africa basin knowledge. What We OfferCompetitive, tax-efficient international package with rotational schedule where applicable, mobilization support and global medical insurance.Structured technical and leadership development with a dual career ladder — you can grow as a technical expert or as a manager. The chance to shape assets and build capability from the ground up in a growing independent oil company.A lean, fast-moving, multicultural environment where capable people take real ownership and advance quickly. How to ApplyClick “Apply” on LinkedIn, or send your CV to yqtkf@antonoil.com with the subject line “[Position] – [Your Name] – [Preferred Location].” Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.UNCO OIL is an equal-opportunity employer.
