The organization is committed to community engagement and believes quality healthcare is essential to a thriving society.Role Description The Resident Doctor is a full-time, on-site position based in Taman Melawati, responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based medical care to patients at Medipulih Klinik. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and prescribing appropriate treatments. The role involves overseeing minor procedures, reviewing diagnostic results, documenting clinical encounters accurately, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. The Resident Doctor will collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals, participate in case discussions, contribute to patient education, and support preventive health initiatives. Participation in quality improvement activities and continuous professional development is expected.QualificationsRecognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).Completion of housemanship; prior experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine is an advantage.Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills, including management of common acute and chronic conditions.Ability to perform minor clinical procedures safely and competently, with adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.Clear, respectful communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a diverse community.Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional integrity.Comfort with electronic medical records, basic digital tools, and documentation requirements.Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required by clinic operations.Continuous learning mindset, with interest in preventive care, community health initiatives, and evidence-based practice.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are beneficial.
