Join our team as a Resident Engineer and become the trusted technical advisor for a leading enterprise customer, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of their mission-critical Red Hat infrastructure.📍 Job TitleResident Engineer – Red Hat OpenShift & Infrastructure💼 Experience5+ YearsPosition Type-Contract(1 Years Extendable)🎯 Role OverviewAs a Resident Engineer, you will work onsite as an extension of the customer's IT team, providing expert administration, optimization, and strategic support for Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Red Hat Satellite Server environments. You'll play a critical role in maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise infrastructure while collaborating closely with customer stakeholders and Red Hat support teams.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and upgrade Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters.Perform OpenShift patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and day-2 operations.Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9/10) environments, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and patch management.Administer Red Hat Satellite Server for provisioning, content views, lifecycle environments, activation keys, and compliance.Coordinate with Red Hat Technical Support and Technical Account Managers (TAMs) for incident resolution and root cause analysis.Conduct proactive health checks, monitoring, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization.Ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence across the enterprise environment.✅ Required Skills5+ years of Linux System Administration and Enterprise Infrastructure experience.Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP v4.x).Deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.Experience with Red Hat Satellite Server for patching, provisioning, and subscription management.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.⭐ Nice to HaveExperience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM).Knowledge of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS).Experience with OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF).Familiarity with Red Hat Quay Container Registry.Red Hat Certifications:RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration📩 Interested?
