Resident Engineer - Healthcare Project

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Resident Engineer to lead the construction and development of a hospital project. This is a critical role that will involve overseeing all aspects of the project from conception through completion, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare project management, with a deep understanding of hospital construction and healthcare industry requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale hospital project, ensuring that all phases are completed on time and within budget.Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to design and build a facility that meets healthcare standards and operational needs.Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.Manage project risks, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure smooth project progression.Coordinate project teams and resources, including internal departments and external contractors, to maintain project momentum and timelines.Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scope, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving requirements.Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are aligned and any concerns are addressed promptly.Oversee quality assurance and control measures throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications:A minimum of 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in the healthcare or hospital construction sector.Extensive experience with large-scale healthcare facility construction projects, including knowledge of hospital design, construction, and operational needs.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate complex tasks.In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, industry standards, and best practices in hospital construction.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proven track record of successful project delivery, managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.If you are a seasoned Project Manager with expertise in healthcare construction and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding project, we encourage you to apply and join our team at Morgan Consulting Engineers.
