RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER (RMO)Job PurposeTo provide round-the-clock medical care and emergency support to students, faculty, staff and campus residents.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide consultation, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for routine illnesses.Attend to medical emergencies, injuries and first-aid cases, including initial stabilisation.Coordinate ambulance services, hospital referrals and emergency care when required.Monitor patients and ensure appropriate follow-up/referral.Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions and medical documentation.Coordinate with nursing staff, hospitals and other healthcare providers.Ensure availability of essential medicines, emergency equipment and medical supplies.Support health check-ups, vaccination, health awareness and campus wellness programmes.Provide medical support during university events and campus emergencies.Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinical, safety and infection-control protocols.Qualification & ExperienceMBBS from a recognised institution.Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.Prior experience as an RMO/Medical Officer/Hospital Resident preferred.BLS/ACLS certification and emergency-care experience desirable.NURSING STAFFJob PurposeTo provide quality nursing care and first-response medical support to students, faculty, staff and campus residents.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care, basic assessment and first aid to patients visiting the Health Centre.Assist the RMO/Medical Officer in consultation, treatment and emergency management.Administer medicines, injections, dressings and other procedures as prescribed.Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition and escalate concerns promptly.Attend to campus medical emergencies and coordinate ambulance/referral services when required.Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes and medical documentation.Maintain and monitor medicines, emergency supplies and medical equipment.Ensure proper hygiene, infection-control and safety practices within the Health Centre.Support health check-ups, vaccination drives, health awareness and wellness programmes.Maintain patient confidentiality, professional ethics and compassionate patient care.Qualification & ExperienceGNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognised institution.Valid registration with the State Nursing Council / INC as applicable.Prior hospital/clinic/institutional nursing experience preferred.BLS certification desirable.Key CompetenciesClinical judgement
