Job Description – Resident Medical Officer (RMO)Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)Experience: 0–2 Years | Freshers are welcomeQualification: MBBSLocations: Race Course Road | HBR Layout | IndiranagarAbout The RoleWe are looking for a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our clinical team and provide medical care and support to patients admitted in the wards and floors. The RMO will work closely with consultants, nursing teams, and other clinical staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide round-the-clock medical support to patients admitted in the wards and floors. Conduct regular patient assessments and monitor clinical condition and vital signs. Attend to patient and attendant concerns and escalate clinical issues to the concerned consultant promptly. Assist consultants during patient rounds and implement treatment plans as advised. Review investigation reports and communicate significant findings to the treating consultant. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, clinical notes, and medical records. Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and other hospital departments for smooth patient care. Respond promptly to any clinical deterioration or medical emergencies within the assigned area. Ensure appropriate follow-up of investigations, medications, procedures, and treatment orders. Participate in handovers and ensure continuity of patient care across shifts. Follow hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards. Support discharge processes, including preparation and completion of relevant clinical documentation. Maintain professional communication with patients, attendants, consultants, and hospital staff. Eligibility & QualificationsMBBS is mandatory. Fresh MBBS graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible. Candidates who have completed their MBBS outside India must have successfully cleared the FMGE. Valid medical registration with any State Medical Council in India is mandatory. Candidates should have good clinical knowledge, communication skills, and a patient-centric approach. Willingness to work in rotational shifts is required. Preferred SkillsGood clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Ability to identify and escalate deteriorating patients promptly. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong sense of responsibility and patient care orientation.
