Role Description The Resident Medical Officer role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing clinical care and supporting patient management in coordination with the hospital’s medical team. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, reviewing medical records, advising on treatment plans, and providing clinical guidance to on-site staff. The Resident Medical Officer collaborates closely with physicians and surgeons, participates in virtual clinical rounds, and ensures adherence to hospital protocols and evidence-based practices. The role also involves contributing to patient education, assisting with telemedicine consultations, and supporting training initiatives for junior medical staff. Timely documentation, effective communication, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams are essential aspects of this role.QualificationsStrong foundation in Medicine with relevant clinical experience and knowledge of current medical guidelines.Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, including assessment, clinical decision-making, and follow-up management.Experience in Surgery support or exposure to surgical workflows, with ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams.Ability to work closely with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, fostering clear communication and teamwork.Experience in Training or mentoring junior medical staff, residents, or interns is beneficial.Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.Comfort with remote work, telemedicine platforms, electronic medical records, and digital communication tools.Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including evenings, nights, or weekends as required.
