C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.C-Care Hospitals and Clinics is looking for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) to join our medical teams in MauritiusResident Medical Officer Reporting to the Head of Medical Services – the Resident Medical Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, supporting senior medical staff and ensuring the effective delivery of healthcare services. The role involves working closely with consultants, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and patient safety.What you will be doing:Conduct thorough patient assessments, take medical histories and perform physical examinations.Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, initiate appropriate investigations and develop treatment plans.Monitor patients and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting management plans where required.Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, allied health professionals and other hospital teams.Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions and patient rounds.Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing initial stabilisation and treatment.Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient encounters, treatment plans and discharge summaries.Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.Support and supervise junior medical staff and medical students, where applicable.What are we looking for?MBBS from a recognised universityMedical Council registration (Mauritius)Junior: 0–3 years' working experience | Senior: More than 3 years' experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to patient-centred care and quality clinical serviceLocation: C-Care Hospitals and Clinics (Mauritius)
