Popular Medical College Hospital is looking for Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Medicine DepartmentJob Description / ResponsibilityAttend all admitted patients promptly and ensure comprehensive clinical assessment, appropriate treatment, proper documentation and timely follow-up.Review patients` clinical conditions regularly and modify treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols and consultant instructions.Respond immediately to emergency calls from wards, assess patients without delay, and initiate appropriate emergency management whenever required.Accompany consultants during daily ward rounds and ensure that all clinical findings, treatment plans, investigations and consultant instructions are accurately documented.Implement consultant orders promptly and verify their proper execution.Maintain continuous communication with the concerned consultants regarding any significant changes in patients` clinical conditions.Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in both the Hospital Information System (HIS)/Software and the patient`s physical medical file.Ensure all clinical notes, progress notes, investigation reports, treatment updates and medication records are properly documented.Complete all discharge documentation accurately, including discharge summaries, medication lists, final diagnosis, treatment summaries, follow-up advice and patient counseling before discharge.Ensure comprehensive handover of all admitted patients, ongoing treatments, pending investigations, and critical issues to the incoming Resident Medical Officer during every shift change.Maintain continuity of patient care through proper communication and documentation.Actively participate in clinical meetings, mortality and morbidity discussions, board meetings, departmental conferences, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, and all mandatory training sessions organized by the hospital.Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, confidentiality, discipline and patient-centered care at all times.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)Skills Required: Hospitality Management, Medicine, Emergency patient management, Communication Skills, Patient CounselingExperience Requirements2 to 5 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Hospital,Diagnostic Centre,Chamber,Medical CollegeFreshers are also encouraged to apply.Job LocationDhaka (Dhanmondi)SalaryTk. 30000 - 32000 (Monthly)
