campus safety, facilities, wellbeing, academic support, community engagement, and external partners to provide high-quality residential experiences.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Residential Life Manager to lead residential community operations, student engagement, housing support, community standards, resident services, and residential wellbeing programs.The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership across the residential experience while ensuring safe and welcoming living environments, effective student support, strong community engagement, and consistent operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement residential life strategies, policies, procedures, service standards, and annual operating plans.Oversee residential life programs and services across student residences, housing communities, and residential facilities.Develop programs that promote community building, student engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, leadership, and personal development.Establish residential community standards and ensure consistent application across housing areas.Coordinate student onboarding, move-in, orientation, room assignments, transfers, and move-out activities.Manage residential occupancy, room allocation, vacancies, transfers, waitlists, and housing-related requests.Establish effective processes for responding to resident inquiries, service requests, complaints, and escalations.Supervise residential staff, resident advisors, community assistants, coordinators, and other housing personnel as applicable.Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and evaluate residential life staff.Develop training programs covering community management, student support, emergency response, conflict resolution, safeguarding, and customer service.Coordinate residential events, community activities, educational programs, workshops, social events, and wellbeing initiatives.Build strong relationships with residents and identify opportunities to improve engagement and sense of belonging.Monitor resident concerns, behavioral issues, disputes, and community conflicts.Establish fair, consistent, and documented processes for addressing conduct and community-standard concerns.Coordinate with student affairs, academic teams, counseling, health services, security, facilities, and other campus departments.Support students experiencing personal, academic, behavioral, wellbeing, or residential challenges by connecting them with appropriate services.Maintain appropriate confidentiality and handle sensitive student information professionally.Develop escalation and referral procedures for welfare, safeguarding, behavioral, and emergency situations.Coordinate residential emergency response, evacuation, shelter, lockdown, medical incidents, fire incidents, and other critical events.Ensure residents and staff understand emergency procedures, communication channels, and safety requirements.Conduct residential safety inspections and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.Work with facilities teams to address maintenance, cleanliness, utilities, room conditions, and common-area requirements.Monitor residential facilities, furnishings, equipment, access systems, and shared spaces.Coordinate contractors, cleaning providers, maintenance teams, security providers, and other residential service partners.Establish vendor service standards, SLAs, performance measures, and escalation procedures.Monitor housing service quality and ensure resident requests are handled within established standards.Develop residential communication plans covering policies, events, maintenance, emergencies, and community updates.Manage resident feedback, surveys, focus groups, and other engagement channels.Analyze resident feedback and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.Develop residential budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and resource requirements.Monitor operating expenses, program costs, housing services, and budget performance.Support housing pricing, occupancy planning, and financial controls where applicable.Maintain accurate residential records, occupancy information, incident reports, conduct documentation, staff records, and service data.Use housing-management, CRM, case-management, access-control, communication, and reporting systems to improve residential operations.Develop dashboards and management reports covering occupancy, resident experience, incidents, service requests, engagement, and operational performance.Monitor residential community trends and identify emerging student needs.Develop initiatives that improve retention, engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and residential satisfaction.Ensure residential programs and services are accessible and responsive to diverse student needs.Coordinate residential arrangements and reasonable support for students with accessibility requirements.Support student leadership development through residential councils, peer programs, community leadership, and volunteer initiatives.Establish partnerships with student organizations, academic departments, community groups, and service providers.Manage residential events and activities while ensuring appropriate safety, staffing, facilities, and logistical arrangements.Develop contingency plans for occupancy changes, facility disruptions, staffing shortages, emergencies, and other operational risks.Conduct regular residential program reviews, audits, and quality assessments.Benchmark residential life practices against relevant higher-education and student-housing standards.Identify opportunities to improve residential services through technology, digital communication, data analytics, and innovative community models.Prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior leadership.Lead continuous-improvement initiatives that enhance residential safety, service quality, student have strong experience in residential life, student housing, higher education, student affairs, community management, hospitality, residential services, or related environments.The candidate should
