GENERAL MANAGER – PRE-OPENING HOTEL | SAUDI ARABIAMajor Family Leisure Destination | International Hotel GroupJWR is supporting a leading international hotel group with the appointment of a General Manager for an exciting new-build hotel opening within one of Saudi Arabia's most significant emerging leisure and entertainment destinations.This is a pre-opening leadership appointment for a substantial, family-focused hotel due to open in 2027.We are specifically looking for a hands-on, commercially minded hotel operator who understands how to deliver a high-volume family leisure operation efficiently and successfully.This is not a traditional luxury hotel GM appointment.The successful candidate will need to be comfortable leading a streamlined operating model where operational efficiency, guest flow, family experience, commercial performance and team leadership will be central to success.The profile we are looking for:Proven General Manager experience within Saudi ArabiaFluent/native Arabic and strong EnglishStrong understanding of the Saudi hospitality market, culture and operating environmentGenuine family leisure, resort or high-volume hospitality experiencePrevious hotel pre-opening experience, ideally with direct responsibility for operational readiness and launchA highly hands-on and visible operational leadership styleExperience managing substantial room inventories and high guest volumesStrong P&L, budgeting, revenue and cost-control capabilityProven ability to recruit, develop and lead multicultural teamsStrong owner, operator and stakeholder management skillsComfortable operating within an international branded hotel environmentOf particular interest will be General Managers who have successfully operated family resorts, leisure hotels, destination hotels or high-volume internationally branded properties in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC.The hotel will operate a streamlined F&B model without its own traditional hotel-operated restaurant portfolio, so candidates should be genuinely motivated by the wider opportunity, destination and pre-opening challenge rather than the complexity associated with running multiple luxury F&B outlets.This represents an excellent opportunity to lead a hotel from pre-opening through launch and stabilisation, within a major destination that will play an important role in the continued development of Saudi Arabia's leisure and tourism sector.Location: Saudi ArabiaPosition: General Manager – Pre-OpeningOpening: 2027Package: Competitive expatriate/local packageFor a confidential discussion, please contact JWR or apply directly with your CV.
