This hands-on leader will inspire and develop a high-performing team, drive service innovation, and uphold the resort’s iconic luxury standards in a unique and challenging environment. The role requires strategic vision, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a remote, isolated setting while delivering an unforgettable guest journey.Key Areas of Responsibilities:Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. As Resort Manager, you will need to:Executive Leadership & Strategic OversightAct as a trusted deputy to the General Manager and represent the hotel in her absence.Participate in the development and execution of the hotel's strategic business plan.Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Act as a key owner and stakeholder liaison, ensuring operational priorities, brand commitments, and guest experience standards are consistently represented and delivered.Drive cross-departmental collaboration to achieve operational and financial objectives.Ensure team’s unity.Lead hotel wide operational initiatives.Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, online reputation scores, and quality assurance results.Engineering and Rooms Divisions, HS&E and Security Oversight Rooms:Support the strategic leadership to Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Housekeeping, Laundry.Ensure the highest standards of guest service, personalization, and luxury hospitality.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and guest journey touchpoints.Support the rooms division senior leadership leading a culture of excellence.Help identify operational challenges and support proactivity on those.Conduct regular service quality reviews and luxury standards checks across guest-facing touchpoints to ensure consistency, personalization, and readiness for internal and external quality audits.Engineering Oversee the Engineering division to ensure optimal functionality, safety, sustainability, and reliability of all hotel facilities.Ensure preventive maintenance programs are executed effectively.Lead capital expenditure planning and asset preservation strategies.Monitor utility consumption and sustainability initiatives.Embed responsible operations and sustainability practices into daily resort routines, including resource efficiency, waste awareness, and environmental stewardship.Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.Collaborate with General Manager and Finance Director on major projects, renovations, capex and technical improvements.Executive Office Projects & Strategic InitiativesLead special projects assigned by the General Manager.Support hotel openings, transitions, renovations, and operational transformation initiatives.Monitor execution of key strategic priorities and ensure timely delivery.Coordinate cross-functional task forces for operational improvement programs.Prepare executive presentations, business reviews, and performance reports.Champion a culture of quality, service excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the hotel's luxury positioning and brand promise.Financial & Commercial PerformanceSupport achievement of annual budgets, GOP targets, and productivity goals.Analyze operational and financial performance indicators.Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining luxury service standards with no compromises on excellence.Partner with Finance and Revenue Management teams to optimize profitabilityFoster a high-performance culture consistent with company values.Health, Safety, Environment & SecurityEnsure compliance with all company policies and legal regulations.Ensure deliverables are met in terms of company audits and monitor action planning for all items in need of rectification for Safety, Security and EnvironmentLead emergency response preparedness and risk management initiatives.Maintain strong crisis readiness for remote-resort operations, including business continuity, emergency communication, evacuation coordination, and operational recovery planning.Maintain the highest standards of workplace safety and guest security.Manage relationships with security vendors.Talent DevelopmentMentor and develop department heads and future leaders.Promote employee engagement, succession planning, and talent retention.Champion learning and development initiatives.Foster a high-performance culture consistent with company values.Promote colleague wellbeing, accommodation standards, and engagement practices that support retention, resilience, and high performance in a remote resort environment.Key QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Management, or related field.10+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, with significant exposure to resort or remote property operations.Proven track record in managing high-performing Rooms integrated resort operations.Strong Rooms Division background with the ability to oversee complex guest journeys, housekeeping standards, concierge services, and front office excellence in a luxury resort setting.Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance in an international luxury environment.Strong executive presence with the ability to represent an iconic resort and uphold Forbes-recognized standards of service and quality.High level of resilience, adaptability, and sound judgment required to succeed in a remote destination with complex logistics and elevated guest expectations.Preferred Qualifications Fluency in English required; additional languages considered an advantage.Prior experience in remote, island, or ultra-luxury resort environments.Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams and foster engagement in isolated settings.Strong commercial acumen with expertise in room revenue optimization, luxury guest journey design, and service innovation.Experience embedding sustainability, responsible tourism, and community engagement initiatives into resort operations.Similar experience in a Forbes 5-star property preferred.Solid financial discipline with the ability to balance cost control, asset preservation, productivity, and uncompromising luxury service delivery.Key Performance MetricsGuest satisfaction scores, online reputation rankings, and Forbes/LQA audit results against targets.Achievement of GOP, budget, and Rooms Division revenue targets (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy).Cost per occupied room, labor productivity, and delivery of cost-saving initiatives.Preventive maintenance completion rate and capex projects delivered on time and within budget.Utility consumption and sustainability targets aligned with Red Sea Global's environmental commitments.HS&E and security audit compliance, timely closure of action items, and incident rates.Emergency preparedness, including completion of drills and crisis readiness reviews.Colleague engagement, retention, and succession plans in place for key positions.Timely delivery of strategic projects and executive reports assigned by the General
