Through our Respite Crisis Management Program, we provide short-term in-patient care and support services for individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral crises—creating a bridge between immediate recovery and long-term wellness.Position SummaryThe Respite Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, leadership, and daily operations of the Respite Crisis Management Program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and person-centered care to clients in crisis. The manager will oversee staff, coordinate with clinical and community partners, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain program effectiveness aligned with TheeSeeds Institute’s holistic and whole health approach.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the Respite Crisis Management facility and ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients.Support respite staff, peer specialists, and volunteers, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to trauma-informed care principles.Develop and implement individualized crisis recovery and care transition plans in coordination with clinical and behavioral health teams.Coordinate admissions, service delivery, and discharge processes for respite clients.Monitor program compliance with regulatory, ethical, and safety standards.Collect, maintain, and analyze data on program outcomes, client progress, and service quality.Manage scheduling, documentation, and operational reporting in alignment with TheeSeeds Institute’s policies.Collaborate with external agencies, partners, and referral sources to strengthen community linkages and continuity of care.Facilitate staff training and professional development to enhance crisis intervention and recovery support skills.Participate in program evaluation, grant reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, or respite program management.Strong understanding of trauma-informed and holistic care practices.Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and strong communication skills.Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and maintain a calm, empathetic presence in crisis situations.Proficient in documentation, case management systems, and reporting.Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist, Crisis Intervention Specialist, or related credential is an advantage.
