Responsible Individual & Ofsted Consultancy Lead

Location: Flexible / Home Based with National TravelContract: Full TimeSalary: CompetitiveAbout The RoleDelphi Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to lead and develop our growing RI consultancy service.This is a senior role combining statutory Responsible Individual responsibilities with consultancy, quality assurance, client relationship management, and service development.The successful candidate will act as the named Responsible Individual for an agreed portfolio of Ofsted-registered children's homes, providing effective oversight, governance, support, and challenge to providers and Registered Managers. Alongside this, they will help grow and shape Delphi's RI service, building strong client relationships and supporting the development of new business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the named Responsible Individual for an allocated portfolio of children's homesEnsure compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality StandardsProvide oversight, support, and challenge to Registered ManagersMonitor safeguarding, quality, compliance, and service performanceReview incidents, complaints, Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 reports, and improvement plansMaintain positive relationships with Ofsted and other key stakeholdersSupport homes through inspections, regulatory activity, and improvement programmesContribute to the growth and development of Delphi's Responsible Individual consultancy serviceDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients and sector partnersSupport consultancy activity, new service development, and business growth opportunitiesAbout YouYou will have:EssentialPrevious experience acting as a Responsible IndividualSignificant leadership experience within children's residential careExperience as a Registered Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Service, or equivalentStrong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspection frameworks, and safeguarding requirementsExperience in quality assurance, service improvement, and regulatory complianceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDesirableLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential ChildcareMulti-site management experienceExperience opening and registering children's homesConsultancy or business development experienceBenefits25 days annual leave excluding Bank holidaysBright HR Bright ExchangeEmployee assistance programWhy Join Delphi?This is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy and play a key role in developing a specialist Responsible Individual service.
