Restaurant Assistant General Manager

About the Role:The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a pivotal leadership role in supporting the overall success of our high-volume, premium dining operations. This position requires a results-driven hospitality professional with strong operational acumen, people leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive profitability, uphold brand standards, and ensure seamless execution across all departments.Candidate Profile:Proven experience in a management role within a high-end restaurant environmentBackground in high-volume restaurants, with the ability to manage and motivate large teamsStrong understanding of hospitality trends, guest preferences, and premium dining operationsCurrently based in Dubai and available for a face to face interviewAbility to perform well under pressureSolid financial literacy, including hands-on experience in budgeting, P&L management, and performance analysisDemonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams in fast-paced, multicultural environmentsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsA proactive, guest-centric mindset with a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the operationKey Responsibilities:Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to brand and service standards.Drive operational best practices to enhance productivity, quality, and overall guest satisfaction.Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hygiene standards.Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to deliver exceptional service and operational performance.Partner with HR and the GM on recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives.Champion an exceptional guest experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns, and maintaining the highest service standards.Assist the General Manager in budget management, P&L oversight, and cost control strategies.Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with the General Manager and leadership team on business strategies, marketing initiatives, and long-term planning.
