The restaurant engages customers through phone, WhatsApp, and email support, ensuring accessible communication and personalized service.Role Description The Restaurant Cashier at Quick Diet is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The cashier will greet guests, take orders accurately, process cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Daily tasks include handling the cash register, reconciling cash drawers, responding to phone and in-person inquiries, and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure orders are correctly entered and delivered. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized counter area, adhering to food and beverage safety standards, and supporting overall customer satisfaction. The cashier may assist with basic order packaging and menu guidance, helping guests select appropriate meal options that align with their health goals.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Proficient cash handling skills, including operating a point-of-sale system and reconciling daily transactions.Professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage orders and inquiries via phone and messaging applications.Basic understanding of food and beverage service, with the ability to explain menu items and dietary options clearly.Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity in managing payments and customer orders.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.Prior experience in a cashier or front-of-house role in food service is preferred but not mandatory.Basic English communication skills; additional language abilities are an advantage.
