Company: Sofra ServicesIndustry: Restaurants & HospitalityPosition: Restaurant Finance Manager & General ManagerSofra Services is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Restaurant Finance Manager & General Manager to oversee the financial performance and day-to-day management of our restaurant brands.This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who understands that successful restaurant management is not only about accounting—it is about controlling costs, improving operations, managing people, protecting margins, and delivering a consistently strong customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Commercial Management- Manage and oversee the financial performance of all restaurant brands and outlets.- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, P&L statements, cash flow, and management reports.- Monitor daily and monthly sales, expenses, gross profit, and net profitability.- Maintain strict control over food cost, labor cost, operating expenses, and wastage.- Analyze menu item profitability, margins, pricing, and product mix.- Monitor purchasing, supplier pricing, payment terms, and cost fluctuations.- Oversee inventory controls, stock counts, variances, transfers, and wastage.- Establish financial controls to minimize leakage, errors, and unnecessary expenditure.- Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliation, and financial compliance.- Provide ownership with clear KPI reports and recommendations to improve profitability.Restaurant General Management- Oversee the daily operations and performance of Sofra Services’ restaurant brands.- Manage restaurant managers, supervisors, kitchen teams, and support functions.- Establish and enforce operating procedures, controls, and accountability across outlets.- Monitor food quality, service standards, cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and overall brand standards.- Review staffing levels, scheduling, productivity, and labor efficiency.- Work closely with chefs and purchasing teams on portion control, recipe costing, yields, and waste reduction.- Identify operational weaknesses and implement practical solutions.- Ensure customer complaints and operational issues are handled professionally and promptly.- Support new menu launches, promotions, delivery operations, and new outlet openings.- Drive sales growth while maintaining strong cost and profitability controls.Key Performance AreasThe successful candidate will be accountable for:- Revenue and sales growth- Restaurant profitability- Food-cost percentage- Labor-cost percentage- Gross profit and operating margins- Inventory accuracy and stock variance- Waste and loss reduction- Staff productivity- Customer satisfaction- Operational efficiency and complianceCandidate Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.- Strong experience in restaurant finance, F&B operations, restaurant management, or hospitality management.- Previous experience managing restaurant P&Ls and operational budgets.- Strong understanding of food costing, inventory management, purchasing, payroll, and restaurant KPIs.- Ability to analyze financial information and translate it into operational actions.- Strong leadership and team-management skills.- Comfortable working directly in restaurant operations—not solely from an office.- Strong Excel, reporting, and financial-analysis skills.- Experience with restaurant POS, inventory, and accounting systems is preferred.- Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who thinks like an operator and a finance manager at the same time—someone who can look at a P&L, identify where money is being lost, go into the restaurant, understand why it is happening, and work with the team to fix it.The candidate should be hands-on, disciplined, analytical, commercially focused, and results-driven, with the ability to take ownership of the overall performance of multiple restaurant concepts.To Apply:Please send your CV via LinkedIn DM or directly to Sofra Services.#Hiring #RestaurantJobs #FinanceManager #GeneralManager #RestaurantManagement #HospitalityJobs #FandB
