Restaurant Front of House (FOH) Manager – Full-Time

Location: Wixan’s Bridge Restaurant – Uxbridge, ONJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredWixan’s Bridge Restaurant is looking for an experienced and motivated Front of House Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will lead daily front-of-house operations, mentor and support our service team, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Leadership: Oversee daily FOH operations, monitor service quality, maintain restaurant standards and cleanliness, and assist with opening/closing procedures.Team Management & Communication: Lead, train, schedule, and supervise servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development. Run quarterly team meetings to align staff, share goals, and foster team cohesion.Guest Relations: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere, deliver outstanding customer service, and professionally resolve any guest concerns.Financial & Business Acumen: Collaborate with the owner during monthly meetings to review financial performance, analyze sales and profits, manage labor and operating costs, and identify strategies to cut expenses and drive growth.Collaboration & Sales: Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to optimize operations, improve menus, and boost sales. Partner with vendors and sales representatives.Events & Community: Coordinate external events, block parties, and special holiday programming.Administration & Inventory: Manage cash handling, POS operations, and conduct monthly inventory controls and ordering as required. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and workplace standards.QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.Strong leadership, team-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Solid understanding of business finances, including sales, profits, and month-end metrics.Proficiency with POS systems, staff scheduling, and inventory management.Smart Serve certification required; Food Handler certification is considered a strong asset.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.What We OfferFull-time employment.Competitive salary based on experience.Staff meals and employee discounts.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.A supportive and team-oriented work environment.
