This position will oversee dinner service, support and develop the service team, and ensure smooth restaurant operations through closing each night.Position DetailsFull-time position$25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experienceFive-day workweekTypical schedule: 3:00 p.m. through closingPaid time offComprehensive benefits packageReports to the Food & Beverage DirectorEvening, weekend, holiday, and club-event availability requiredKey ResponsibilitiesOversee daily restaurant, bar, patio, and service-area operations during evening serviceReview reservations, special requests, events, and anticipated business levels prior to serviceLead pre-shift meetings and communicate menu updates, specials, reservations, events, and service expectationsCreate floor plans, table assignments, and server sectionsDelegate opening and service-preparation responsibilities to servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staffEnsure dining and service areas are properly prepared prior to member and guest arrivalLead and supervise the service team throughout dinner serviceMaintain professional, attentive, and member-focused service standardsWork closely with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely food serviceProvide hands-on support to the team during busy periodsAddress member and guest questions or concerns promptly and professionallyTrain, coach, and develop service employeesMonitor employee performance, attendance, appearance, and adherence to club standardsOversee closing procedures, including service-area inspections, cash handling, POS reconciliation, and securing the restaurantMaintain compliance with food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety requirementsAssist the Food & Beverage Director with scheduling, inventory, cost controls, staff development, and operational improvementsSupport private events, golf outings, member functions, and other club activities as neededQualificationsPrevious restaurant or hospitality management experience requiredCountry club, hotel, resort, or upscale dining experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, delegation, and organizational skillsProfessional appearance and a hospitality-focused approachAbility to lead an evening operation independently and make sound decisionsAbility to coach employees and hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive work environmentKnowledge of food and beverage service standardsExperience with employee scheduling, training, inventory, and cost controls preferredFamiliarity with point-of-sale and reservation systemsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 poundsMust be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special eventsAlcohol-service and food-safety certifications preferredAbout Stanton RidgeStanton Ridge Golf & Country Club provides members and guests with a welcoming private-club experience centered around exceptional service, quality dining, golf, recreation, and special events.
