Team members are encouraged to help continue the mission started by the founders in 1955.Role Description The Restaurant Manager role at Waffle House in Pleasant View, TN is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations. This includes leading and scheduling team members, ensuring consistent food quality and safety standards, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The Restaurant Manager monitors customer service, resolves guest concerns, and drives customer satisfaction through friendly, efficient service. The role also involves managing inventory, monitoring costs, and assisting with hiring, training, and coaching Associates. The Restaurant Manager partners with leadership to meet performance goals, uphold company policies, and reinforce Waffle House culture and values.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to ensure a positive guest experience and handle feedback effectively.Candidates should possess Hiring and Communication skills to recruit, train, and lead team members while providing clear direction and coaching.Candidates should possess Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic food safety and quality standards, to oversee kitchen and dining operations.Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, including shift leadership or supervisory responsibilities, is beneficial.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and to perform hands-on duties in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or training in hospitality or business management is a plus.
