Job Location : Casino Hotel, KochiRole Description The Restaurant Manager role at CGH Earth is a full-time, on-site position based in Casino Hotel, Kochi. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of guest service, food quality, and hygiene in alignment with CGH Earth’s sustainable and community-oriented values. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring the service team, managing scheduling and staffing, and supporting hiring and onboarding for restaurant personnel. The Restaurant Manager collaborates closely with the culinary team on menus and special events, manages reservations and table allocations, and addresses guest feedback to maintain strong customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring inventory, coordinating with suppliers, handling basic budgeting and cost control, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and local regulatory requirements.QualificationsStrong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of managing guest interactions and resolving issues effectively.Proficiency in verbal and written Communication, including the ability to coordinate with kitchen teams, suppliers, and management.Experience in Hiring, training, and supervising restaurant or hospitality staff, with an emphasis on team development and performance management.Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including menu knowledge, service standards, and basic cost and inventory control.Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within hospitality or premium dining environments.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in on-site restaurant management.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by guest and business needs.Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.Familiarity with sustainable hospitality practices and interest in working with local communities is an advantage.
