Beirut Nepal values reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude, and provides opportunities to learn about international cuisine and professional food service.Role Description The Restaurant Server role at Beirut Nepal - Lebanese Restaurant is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, explaining dishes and specials, taking food and beverage orders, and serving meals accurately and promptly. Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring orders are delivered correctly. The Server handles guest inquiries and feedback, processes payments, and follows all safety, hygiene, and food handling guidelines. This role requires consistent attendance, professional conduct, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Qualifications Strong Food Service and Food & Beverage skills, with experience serving guests in a restaurant or similar environment.Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Basic Food Preparation knowledge and understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a restaurant setting.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and manage multiple tables at once.Professional, respectful attitude with strong teamwork, reliability, and time management abilities.Prior experience as a server or in hospitality is preferred; local language proficiency and basic English speaking skills are an advantage.
