Restaurant Manager – Restaurant Mont BlancAmsterdam | Full-timeRestaurant Mont Blanc is looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Amsterdam.Mont Blanc is an intimate fine dining restaurant inspired by the French Alps, with a strong focus on seasonality, craftsmanship, precision and genuine hospitality. With only around twenty guests per service, we aim to offer every guest a highly personal, warm and refined dining experience.As we continue to develop the restaurant and raise the level of both cuisine and service, we are looking for someone who can take full responsibility for the front of house and become a true ambassador for Mont Blanc.Your responsibilitiesAs Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for the smooth running of the entire front-of-house operation.Your responsibilities include:Leading and organising the daily restaurant serviceManaging, training and motivating the front-of-house teamEnsuring a consistently high standard of serviceWelcoming guests and providing attentive, personalised hospitality throughout their experienceDeveloping an excellent understanding of the menu and being able to communicate the story behind each dishWorking closely with the chef and kitchen teamManaging reservations and preparing each service according to the guests expectedHandling dietary requirements, allergies and special guest requests with care and attentionEnsuring the restaurant and mise en place are presented to the highest standardTaking an active role in service — at Mont Blanc, the Restaurant Manager is present on the floor and closely involved with the guestsContinuously improving service standards, procedures and the overall guest experienceHelping build and maintain a strong culture of professionalism and excellence within the teamYour profileWe are looking for someone with:Relevant experience in fine dining or high-end hospitalityPrevious experience as a Restaurant Manager, Maître d’Hôtel, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or an experienced Chef de Rang ready to take the next stepA genuine passion for hospitality, food and creating memorable guest experiencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsA professional, positive and calm attitude during serviceThe ability to work hands-on within a small teamA good command of EnglishKnowledge of French and/or Dutch is considered an advantage.Good wine knowledge is also highly appreciated.What we offerA responsible position within an independent fine dining restaurantA small, passionate and ambitious teamA personal working environment with close guest interactionThe opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of the restaurantA distinctive cuisine inspired by the French Alps and seasonal ingredientsOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA salary in line with your experience and responsibilitiesWe are looking for someone who would like to become part of the Mont Blanc project for the long term, contribute to the development of the team and help us create an increasingly refined and memorable restaurant experience.Interested?Please send us your CV together with a few words about your experience, your approach to hospitality and why you would like to join Restaurant Mont Blanc in Amsterdam.Restaurant Mont Blanc – Amsterdam
