This opportunity would suit someone interested in the investigative side of restructuring, alongside financial analysis and recovery work.The roleThe focus reflects the regional market, where restructuring assignments can involve disputed claims, complex ownership structures and challenges locating and recovering assets. Asset tracing in the context of restructuring litigation forms part of the remit, rather than the role being centred solely on debt negotiations and financial modelling.Key responsibilities include:Analysing financial records, cash flows and transactions to understand distressed situations.Supporting asset-tracing investigations and assessing potential avenues for recovery.Assisting with contentious restructuring and insolvency assignments.Preparing analysis and reports for clients, senior colleagues and legal advisers.Contributing to restructuring options and recovery strategies.Your background5-7 years in restructuring, insolvency, forensic accounting or related financial advisory work.Strong accounting and analytical skills, including the ability to work with incomplete financial information.Clear written communication and careful attention to supporting evidence.An interest in the interaction between financial distress, investigations and legal proceedings.
