About The OpportunityA dynamic player in the Retail & Fashion Commerce sector across India, we drive financial strategy and performance for fast-growing consumer brands. Our finance team bridges commerce, analytics, and execution—turning sales data into profit levers, inventory into cash flow, and seasonal trends into scalable budgets. You’ll operate at the heartbeat of a high-velocity, category-leading organization where finance isn’t just reporting—it’s forecasting, influencing, and accelerating growth.Role & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet forecasts tailored to retail fashion cycles and peak seasonality.Partner with merchandising and supply chain to model inventory turnover, markdown impacts, and margin optimization scenarios.Build dynamic financial dashboards that track KPIs: GMV by channel, ASP, inventory aging, and COGS variance vs. plan.Support budgeting cycles with scenario modeling and variance analysis across stores, e-commerce, and regional markets.Assist in vendor payment terms negotiation, working capital optimization, and AP/AR reconciliation for retail operations.Present financial insights to leadership with clear visualizations and actionable recommendations to drive margin and throughput.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveExcel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Power Query)Financial modelingInventory valuationBreak-even analysisCash flow forecastingRetail P&L analysisCFA Level 1 passedERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)PreferredPower BI or TableauExperience in fashion or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)Knowledge of GST and indirect tax implications for retailBenefits & Culture HighlightsOn-site collaboration with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, data-driven retail environmentsGrowth path into Finance Manager or FP&A roles for top performersPerformance-linked bonuses and exposure to regional expansion strategiesSkills: cash,drive,retail,flow,commerce,forecasting,ca,gst,finance,tds
