Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League, is looking for enthusiastic and customer focused Retail and Ticketing Assistants to join our commercial operations team at the bet365 Stadium retail store and ticket office. Reporting to the Store Manager and Ticket Operations Supervisor, you will form part of a busy team, working cross-departmentally to deliver a best in class experience for our supporters. Whether assisting with merchandise purchases or securing tickets for matchdays, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available. Contracted options include 37.5 hours (typically 5 days of 7), 16.5 hours (typically 3 days of 7), or 11 hours (typically 2 days of 7). Casual positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. Please indicate your preferred contract type in your application.If you are a proactive individual with strong computer and telephony skills, prepared to go the extra mile to provide exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.Main Responsibilities:Representing Stoke City Football Club in a positive and professional manner at all times.Providing outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, purchases and ticketing needs, both in person and over the phone. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point of sale systems, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience for customers.Assisting in the sale and distribution of match tickets and other ticketing products, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.Helping to maintain the retail store's merchandise displays, ensuring products are well stocked, organised and presented attractively.Assisting with administrative tasks related to ticketing and retail operations, including inventory management and record keeping.Monitoring and managing the customer service inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all inquiries, and effectively prioritising messages to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Key Skills and Experience:Competence in using computer software and applications. Knowledge of point of sale and/or ticketing systems is advantageous but not essential.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.A flexible approach to work, with a willingness to assist during peak periods to meet customer demands.Positive and proactive attitude.Strong ability to engage with customers, understand their needs and provide exceptional service.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable.Experience of using back-office computer programmes/software is desirable.All relevant training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover match day fixtures and other ad hoc events at the bet365 Stadium.This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
