Retail Credit Analyst (Credit & Collections) — Abhi Oman (EWA / Fintech)Abhi Oman is launching Earned Wage Access (EWA) in Oman, and we’re looking for a hands-on Retail Credit Analyst to support credit operations, underwriting exceptions, collections and portfolio monitoring during our launch and scale-up phase.What you’ll do• Review flagged applications and exceptions from our automated eligibility and underwriting engine • Monitor daily direct-debit collections and repayment performance, identifying and actioning early delinquency • Review bureau, income, employment and verification data where required • Support onboarding of our anchor corporate partner and early B2C users • Track key credit and collections metrics and highlight emerging portfolio risks • Support the development and refinement of credit, collections and exception-handling processes as the business scales • Investigate unusual cases, repayment failures and operational credit issues • Escalate material risk questions and trends to our regional risk lead • Work closely with Operations, Product and Technology to improve the customer journey while maintaining appropriate risk controlsWhat we’re looking for• 3–5 years of experience in retail credit underwriting, collections, credit risk or risk operations • Experience within a bank, consumer finance company, fintech or lending business preferred • Comfortable working with credit bureau/verification data, income documentation and repayment information • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Able to make sound credit decisions and clearly document the rationale behind exceptions • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where processes are still being built • Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage • Based in Oman or willing to relocateWhy join Abhi Oman?This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and play a hands-on role in building the credit and collections function for a new fintech business in Oman.Location: Muscat, OmanFunction: Credit & Risk / CollectionsExperience: 3–5 years
