Job Title: Retail Leasing Manager

Location: Jeddah/Makkah KSAWe are seeking an experienced Retail Leasing & Development Manager to join a leading real estate and destination development organization in Saudi Arabia.This is an end-to-end retail role responsible for progressing retail assets from leasing and development coordination through tenant handover, fit-out and successful opening.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial leasing expertise with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive tenant and asset readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute retail leasing strategies and tenant-mix plans aligned with asset positioning and commercial objectives.Identify and engage suitable local, regional and international retail, F&B, lifestyle and service operators.Manage the full leasing lifecycle from tenant sourcing and qualification through proposals, LOIs, commercial negotiations, contracting, handover, fit-out and opening.Lead commercial negotiations covering rental structures, incentives, lease terms, fit-out periods and other key commercial terms.Coordinate with development, project and design teams to ensure unit configuration, base-build requirements, access and handover plans support tenant requirements.Support commercial business cases, feasibility assessments, rental benchmarking and market analysis.Coordinate tenant onboarding, design requirements, unit handover and fit-out activities from the landlord/commercial perspective.Track tenant delivery and opening readiness, proactively identifying and resolving commercial, development and operational blockers.Work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, tenants and operators to ensure projects progress according to agreed timelines.Maintain clear leasing, development, fit-out and opening-readiness trackers and provide regular management updates.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management or a related discipline.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in retail leasing, commercial real estate, retail development, tenant delivery or mixed-use/destination development.Strong experience in Saudi Arabia and/or the GCC, with Saudi retail market experience preferred.Demonstrated experience across a significant part of the retail lifecycle, including tenant mix, brand acquisition, commercial negotiations, leasing documentation, development coordination, tenant handover, fit-out and store opening.Experience with shopping malls, premium retail, F&B, lifestyle destinations or mixed-use developments is strongly preferred.Strong commercial acumen with sound understanding of retail lease structures, rental benchmarking and financial considerations.Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive delivery across teams without direct authority.Strong negotiation, problem-solving, reporting and communication skills.Ideal ProfileWe are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong retail leasing expertise with hands-on development and tenant-delivery experience.
