Retail Manager - Dubai (Luxury Fashion)

We are recruiting a City Retail Manager for an international luxury fashion brand in Dubai.This is a newly created position and an important hire for the business, with responsibility for the performance, leadership and day-to-day retail operations of the brand's boutique network across Dubai.We are looking for someone who understands luxury retail at a high level but is equally commercial. Someone who knows their stores, their teams, their clients and their numbers, and who is comfortable being visible on the shop floor rather than managing the business entirely from an office.The RoleYou will take ownership of the retail performance across Dubai, working closely with Store Managers and their teams to drive sales, client experience, operational standards and profitability.Key responsibilities will include:Taking ownership of sales performance and profitability across the Dubai retail networkLeading, developing and challenging Store Managers to deliver against commercial targets and KPIsMaintaining consistently high standards of luxury client experience across all locationsRegularly visiting stores and remaining close to the teams, clients and day-to-day businessAnalysing sales, KPIs and market trends to identify opportunities and areas requiring actionReviewing staffing levels, performance, incentives and development needs across the storesSupporting new boutique openings, renovations and other retail projectsWorking closely with Marketing, PR, VM and other functions on local activations, VIPs, celebrities, stylists and influencersEnsuring global visual merchandising and brand standards are consistently implementedMaintaining strong operational standards across both Front of House and Back of HouseEnsuring compliance with company procedures covering HR, security, loss prevention and inventoryProviding clear monthly reporting on performance, business trends, opportunities and competitor activityActing as a strong link between the boutiques, regional management and head officeWe are looking for an established luxury fashion retail leader who understands the Dubai market and can operate comfortably in a demanding, fast-moving international environment.You should bring:Strong experience managing multiple stores, a major flagship or a significant retail operation within luxury fashionA proven commercial track record with strong understanding of sales, KPIs and profitabilityExcellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and hold senior store teams accountableStrong knowledge of the Dubai luxury consumer and retail landscapeA genuine client-first mentality and understanding of luxury serviceThe ability to analyse performance and turn numbers into clear actionsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailConfidence working across different functions and with regional and international stakeholdersA hands-on leadership style and willingness to spend significant time in the storesThe personality and credibility to represent an international luxury fashion houseThis is a new role within the organisation, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape how the Dubai retail business is managed and developed going forward.
