Applicants joining Portmeirion Group can expect to work with established, trusted brands and distinctive products in a dynamic retail environment.Role Description: Pop Up store for 8-12 weeks Retail Sales Assistant full time & part time roles, in Stoke-On-Trent, Portsmouth & Swindon. In your role, you will welcome and assist customers, provide product information, and help them find items that meet their needs. You will process sales transactions, handle cash and card payments accurately, and ensure the sales floor and displays are well-presented and stocked. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining store cleanliness, following visual merchandising guidelines, and supporting promotional activities. You will also respond to customer queries, manage returns or exchanges in line with company policies, and work collaboratively with the store team to meet sales and service targets.Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with a focus on friendly, professional, and responsive support.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening.Candidates should possess Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend products, and close sales.Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing environment is beneficial.Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks during busy periods.Basic numeracy and comfort using point-of-sale systems; training will be provided.Interest in homewares, gifting, or design-related products is an advantage.Click to Apply: Current vacancies - Portmeirion Group PLC
