We carry domestic and exotic hardwoods, cabinet-grade sheet goods, and Festool tools, and we offer on-site milling services.Position Summary We are hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to work at the front of the store. This person will assist customers with product selection, process sales, and support both retail and trade customers.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with selecting lumber, sheet goods, tools, and suppliesProvide product knowledge on wood species, sheet goods, and toolsProcess sales transactions using the store's POS systemPrepare quotes and write up milling ordersBuild and maintain relationships with trade and retail customersRestock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized sales floorAssist with loading customer ordersRequirementsSales experienceRetail experienceWoodworking experience (professional or hobby)Ability to lift and move lumber and sheet goodsReliable and able to work a full-time scheduleMust be detail orientedPreferred QualificationsCabinetmaking, millwork, or construction experienceExperience with Festool or other professional tool brandsExperience with retail POS systemsForklift experience
