Team members join a legacy brand known for performance in demanding environments, from oil fields to farm fields.Role Description The Retail Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position located in Southgate, MI. This role is responsible for greeting customers, assessing their needs, and recommending appropriate footwear and accessories that meet safety, comfort, and style requirements. Daily activities include providing informed product guidance, fitting customers for boots and shoes, processing sales transactions, and maintaining clean, organized displays and stockrooms. The Retail Salesperson will handle customer inquiries and service issues, support inventory management through stock checks and restocking, and assist with in-store promotions and merchandising. This position contributes to store sales goals by building lasting customer relationships and delivering a consistently positive in-store experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet or exceed individual and store performance goals.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to engage customers, understand their needs, and provide clear, helpful information.Candidates should possess Product Knowledge skills, or the ability and willingness to quickly learn technical details about work and safety footwear.Prior experience in retail, footwear, or apparel is beneficial, along with basic math skills for handling cash, POS systems, and transactions.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes of merchandise, and maintain an organized, safe sales floor is required.Dependable work habits, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset are essential; weekend and evening availability may be required.
