Employment Type: Permanent / Full-timeThe RoleRashmi Dress Point (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced and hands-on Retail Store Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and overall performance of our Avissawella store.The successful candidate will lead an established team, strengthen store operations, improve customer service, and introduce greater structure, accountability, and performance standards across the business.The role involves managing a large retail operation with approximately 50 shop staff and 25 warehouse staff.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strong leadership, direction, and motivation to the retail and warehouse teams.Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the store.Manage and improve floor operations, customer service, and sales performance.Take responsibility for inventory management, stock control, and stock accuracy.Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement.Establish clear targets, KPIs, processes, and accountability across the team.Monitor staff performance and take appropriate action to improve productivity.Recruit, train, develop, and motivate staff where required.Ensure high standards of merchandising, store presentation, and customer experience.Coordinate effectively between the retail floor, warehouse, and management.Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.Provide regular performance updates and reports to the Directors / ownership.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should have:At least 5 years of current, hands-on retail management experience.Experience in fashion, apparel, textiles, or another high-volume retail environment is highly preferred.Proven experience managing and developing large teams.A strong understanding of sales, customer service, inventory, and retail operations.Proven ability to build, organize, and scale a successful retail operation.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Fluent English communication skills.Good IT and computer skills.A results-oriented approach with strong commercial awareness.The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.Working Days & HoursThe store operates 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM.This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Avissawella store.
