Returns Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Returns Team Leader to join our Warehouse team and lead daily returns receiving, verification, inventory accuracy, product disposition, and team coordination activities.

Responsibilities

Lead daily receiving and processing of returned products within the Central WarehouseVerify returned quantities, item details, condition, return reasons, and supporting documentsEnsure returned products are correctly recorded in WMS/system records and maintain full traceabilityInvestigate and resolve quantity, item, documentation, and inventory discrepancies with Stock Control and relevant teamsEnsure returned products are properly segregated and classified based on condition and approved dispositionCoordinate with Quality Assurance for product condition assessment when requiredEnsure damaged, expired, rejected, or non-conforming products are not returned to available stock without proper approvalCoordinate products approved for restocking, supplier return, disposal, or other approved dispositionLead and allocate daily tasks based on return volumes, workload, and operational prioritiesMonitor team productivity, accuracy, attendance, and compliance with warehouse procedures and safety standardsMaintain accurate return records and prepare daily/periodic operational reportsMonitor return KPIs, identify recurring issues, and support process improvement initiativesEscalate significant return issues, quality concerns, or operational delays to the Inbound ManagerRequirements3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, returns, inbound, inventory control, or a related fieldRelevant Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain certification is an advantagePrevious Team Leader or operational coordination experience is preferredStrong knowledge of warehouse returns, receiving, product verification, and inventory movementsExperience handling returned products and verifying quantity, condition, item details, and documentationGood understanding of inventory accuracy, stock discrepancies, and WMS transactionsKnowledge of damaged stock, expiry control, product segregation, and disposition processesExperience using WMS and warehouse operational systemsStrong leadership and ability to coordinate frontline warehouse teams and allocate daily workloadGood problem-solving, communication, organization, and reporting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment and support rotational shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required
