It serves as the investment arm of the Municipality of Makkah, focusing on strategic urban development and regeneration within the Holy City. The company manages an undeveloped land bank of over 60 million square meters, enabling large-scale, long-term real estate and infrastructure projects. Team members contribute to impactful initiatives that support the city’s growth, modernization, and sustainable development while preserving its unique heritage.Job Purpose:To oversee and manage the Company's collection activities efficiently and transparently, ensuring the timely recording of all revenues, monitoring accounts receivable, improving cash flow, and enforcing collection policies and financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Collection Operations ManagementFollow up on revenue collections from customers, investors, business partners, and contractors.Prepare collection receipts and ensure proper documentation in accordance with approved financial policies and procedures.Coordinate with the Treasury function regarding daily deposits and collection activities.Revenue Recording and DocumentationRecord all collection transactions accurately in the ERP system.Classify revenues according to their nature, including leases, services, auctions, contracts, and other revenue streams.Prepare journal entries related to revenue collection transactions.Accounts Receivable ManagementMaintain and regularly update accounts receivable records.Follow up on outstanding balances and issue payment reminders to overdue customers.Prepare aging reports and monthly collection performance reports.Coordinate with the Legal Department regarding overdue and defaulted accounts when necessary.Bank Reconciliation and Cash ManagementReconcile collection transactions with bank statements and records.Follow up with banks regarding unidentified, disputed, or returned payments.Prepare monthly reconciliations between revenue records and banking transactions.Financial Control and ComplianceEnsure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and controls related to revenue collection.Monitor electronic collection channels and payment platforms.Report any financial irregularities, violations, or potential risks in a timely manner.Reporting and AnalysisPrepare daily and monthly collection reports.Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including collection rates, collection cycle times, and overdue balances.Provide recommendations to improve collection efficiency and cash flow management.Audit SupportProvide documents, records, and supporting information required for internal and external audits.Assist in resolving discrepancies and reconciliation issues when identified.Ensure proper retention and archiving of documents in accordance with Company policies.Perform any other related duties assigned within the scope and nature of the position.Job Requirements:EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Collection functions.Knowledge and SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition practices.Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management and collection processes.Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.Excellent communication and relationship management skills with customers and government entities.Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
