Role Summary
Provide operational, technical, analytical, and project delivery support across Total Rewards, People Analytics, HR Policies and Procedures, HR Governance, and HR Technology. The role supports the Associate Director - Reward and People Analytics in delivering the section's business-as-usual responsibilities and transformation priorities. The position serves as the delivery and coordination layer for the function, translating agreed priorities into accurate analysis, coordinated actions, and completed deliverables.** The Rewards & People Analytics Specialist role is a fixed-term contract hire at DMCC **Key Accountabilities:Rewards Operations and AnalysisCoordinate and administer Total Rewards functional and operational activities in line with approved frameworks and timelines.Collect, consolidate, prepare, and validate reward data from relevant internal and external sources to support reward activities, benchmarking, reviews, and studies.Perform reward calculations and analyses, prepare related findings and deliverables, and escalate exceptions or discrepancies for review.Support job evaluation and grading activities through job information review, analysis, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders or external advisors.People Analytics and Business IntelligenceDevelop and maintain workforce reports, dashboards, and management information, applying data quality controls and consistent definitions.Analyze people data, perform scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis, and highlight material findings and implications.Translate business questions into analytical requirements and present clear insights to support workforce, HR, and organizational decisions.Support the Associate Director in developing and enhancing the People Analytics capability.HR Technology and Systems SupportSupport HR technology transformation and other system initiatives through business requirements, process mapping, testing, data validation, and implementation-readiness activities.Coordinate reporting requirements, stakeholder inputs, vendor follow-up, user acceptance testing, and the resolution of actions and issues.Evaluate system performance, user feedback, and relevant technology options, recommending practical enhancements and automation opportunities.Maintain system documentation and support implementation monitoring and knowledge transfer to HR users.HR Policies and GovernanceSupport the review and development of HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals based on regulatory, market, and internal requirements.Coordinate stakeholder review, approval, version control, publication, communication, and implementation of approved documents.Monitor the consistent application of approved requirements and escalate interpretation or compliance matters when necessary.Prepare governance and audit materials, monitor actions and deliverables, and support regulatory, audit, and internal review requests with validated information.Project and Initiative DeliveryTranslate agreed initiatives into project plans, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and deliverables, maintaining the related schedules, action logs, risk and issue registers, status reports, and decision records.Coordinate HR colleagues, business stakeholders, consultants, and vendors to maintain progress and address delivery constraints.Manage assigned workstreams and provide analytical and administrative support for Rewards, HR technology, and other initiatives, escalating material risks, decisions, or changes.Operational Excellence and Knowledge ManagementManage assigned recurring activities, the functional delivery calendar, and stakeholder requests to meet agreed deadlines, service standards, and quality requirements.Maintain complete and current section records, standard operating procedures, controls, trackers, approvals, audit evidence, and handover materials.Provide practical coaching and knowledge transfer to designated team members.Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve workflows while maintaining appropriate governance and controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, People Analytics, or a related discipline is an advantage.Experience:Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience, with significant hands-on experience in People Analytics, workforce analytics, HR data analysis, or business intelligence.Proven experience designing and developing workforce metrics, dashboards, analytical models, management reports, and data visualisations.Experience collecting, preparing, validating, and analysing data from multiple internal and external sources.Experience conducting workforce studies, trend analysis, scenario modelling, benchmarking, and other analytical reviews.Demonstrated hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and Qlik, with exposure to other business intelligence tools.Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions, insights, and practical recommendations.Practical exposure to Total Rewards administration, including compensation calculations, benchmarking, and job evaluation support, is preferred.Exposure to HR technology, HRMS implementation, HR policies, governance, or audit requirements is an advantage.Skills and Competencies:People Analytics and Data AnalysisStrong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to independently conduct workforce analysis and studies.Ability to design workforce metrics, dashboards, reports, and analytical models.Ability to prepare, validate, and analyse data and identify relevant trends, risks, and exceptions.Experience analysing headcount, attrition, performance, compensation, mobility, and other workforce measures.Ability to perform benchmarking, trend analysis, and scenario modelling.Ability to translate data into clear business insights and practical recommendations.Understanding of data quality, governance, confidentiality, and reporting standards.Excel and Business IntelligenceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, Power Query, data validation, modelling, and report automation.Strong hands-on capability in developing dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI and Qlik.Experience using other business intelligence or data visualisation tools is an advantage.Ability to improve and automate reporting and analytical processes.Working knowledge of SQL or other data-querying tools is an advantage.Supporting HR and Delivery SkillsWorking knowledge of Total Rewards operations, including compensation calculations, benchmarking, and job evaluation support.General understanding of HR processes and HR technology.Strong project coordination, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and deliver accurate work within agreed timelines.About UsDMCC is a government entity established in 2002 to enhance commodity trade flows through Dubai.
