Rice Distribution Program – HADI

HADI proposes a four-month rice distribution project across three tehsils of Rajanpur, South Punjab, targeting 6,000 vulnerable families (approx. 42,000 individuals). The project responds to urgent food insecurity identified in HADI’s July 2026 need assessment, where 62% of households reported skipping meals.The intervention will distribute two types of rice — Basmati–1121 and Irri–6 — ensuring culturally appropriate and nutritionally essential support. Special focus will be given to women-headed households, elderly, and persons with disabilities.Key Features:Transparent beneficiary selection with community participation.Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) for accountability.Eco-friendly packaging disposal and gender-sensitive distribution.Professional documentation (photos, videos, case stories) for donor visibility.Project GoalTo contribute to improved food security and household resilience among vulnerable populations in Rajanpur through timely, targeted, and accountable rice distribution.Project ObjectivesProvide rice packs to 6,000 vulnerable families across 3 tehsils of Rajanpur.Ensure equitable access for women-headed households and marginalized groups.Promote transparency and accountability through participatory monitoring and CRM.Key ResultsOutput: Distribution of Basmati–1121 and Irri–6 rice packs to 6,000 families.Outcome: Reduced immediate food consumption gaps and improved household resilience.Impact: Strengthened dignity and reduced hunger among marginalized communities.Project ActivitiesNeed assessment survey in 3 tehsils.Procurement of rice (Basmati–1121 & Irri–6).Distribution setup with branding and visibility.Rice pack distribution to beneficiaries.Monitoring, documentation, and reporting.Implementation Period / DurationStart Date: September 1, 2026End Date: December 31, 2026To implement this project, we are seeking passionate professionals to join our team.Project CoordinatorResponsibilities:Lead field operations and logistics across 3 tehsils.Ensure transparent beneficiary selection and equitable targeting.Oversee Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) and donor reporting.Qualifications:Master Degree in Social Sciences/Development Studies.5+ years humanitarian project experience.Strong leadership and reporting skills.Finance ManagerResponsibilities:Manage project budget and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with donor requirements and audits.Maintain transparent payment trails and documentation.Qualifications:Master’s/Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting.5+ years donor-funded project finance experience.Expertise in audits and financial accountability.Field Coordinators (3 positions – one per tehsil)Responsibilities:Mobilize communities and verify beneficiary lists.Supervise rice distribution events.Collect monitoring data and feedback.Qualifications:Master degree (preferred).3+ years field-level humanitarian experience.Strong community engagement skills.Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) OfficerResponsibilities:Design and implement monitoring framework.Track KPIs and prepare weekly/monthly reports.Manage CRM data and beneficiary feedback.Qualifications:Master’s in M&E, Statistics, Social Sciences or Development Studies.3+ years M&E experience in relief projects.Strong data analysis and reporting skills.Media & Documentation OfficerResponsibilities:Capture high-resolution photos and videos of distributions.Develop case stories and beneficiary testimonials.Ensure donor branding and visibility.Qualifications:Bachelor’s in Media/Communications.3+ years experience in humanitarian documentation.Strong photography/videography skills.Logistics & Procurement OfficerResponsibilities:Manage rice procurement contracts.Oversee transportation and warehouse management.Ensure timely delivery to distribution sites.Qualifications:Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Logistics.3+ years procurement/logistics experience.Knowledge of local supply chains in South Punjab.How to Apply:Send your CV and cover letter to ceo@hadi.asia with the subject line: “Application – [Position Title], Rice Distribution Program”.
