The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fleet management, with the ability to coordinate riders, optimize fleet utilization, monitor operational performance, and resolve day-to-day challenges effectively.You will be responsible for managing the complete operational lifecycle of the rider fleet, from onboarding and deployment to attendance, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and retention. The role requires strong coordination, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilization and availability of riders and vehiclesPlan and allocate riders across locations, shifts, routes, and operational requirementsMonitor rider productivity, attendance, login hours, order/task completion, and overall performanceDevelop and implement processes to improve fleet efficiency, rider productivity, and operational outputManage rider onboarding, documentation, training, deployment, and operational readinessCoordinate with riders regularly to understand operational challenges and ensure timely resolutionTrack fleet availability, vehicle utilization, maintenance requirements, and operational downtimeIdentify gaps in rider availability and proactively plan recruitment or deployment requirementsMaintain accurate fleet and rider records, reports, and performance dashboardsMonitor key operational metrics and prepare regular reports for managementWork closely with internal teams such as Operations, HR, Recruitment, Customer Support, and Finance to ensure smooth fleet operationsHandle rider grievances, escalations, attendance issues, and disciplinary matters professionallyIdentify recurring operational issues and implement corrective and preventive measuresEnsure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable safety standardsSupport initiatives focused on rider engagement, retention, productivity, and satisfactionMust-Have SkillsFleet ManagementStrong understanding of fleet operations and day-to-day field operationsExperience managing a large or distributed rider/driver workforceStrong operational planning and resource allocation skillsAbility to track and improve productivity, utilization, attendance, and operational KPIsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and operational reportingAbility to work independently and manage multiple operational prioritiesGood-to-Have SkillsRider ManagementExperience in last-mile delivery, logistics, mobility, e-commerce, or hyperlocal operationsFamiliarity with rider onboarding, engagement, retention, and incentive programsExperience handling rider grievances and escalationsKnowledge of fleet tracking or rider management platformsUnderstanding of route optimization and workforce schedulingExperience working with data-driven operational dashboardsCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a hands-on operations professional who can effectively manage people, processes, and fleet resources. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, making quick operational decisions, analyzing performance data, and maintaining strong relationships with riders and internal stakeholders.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with 3-6 years of relevant experience in fleet, logistics, rider, or field operations management.
