Job Purpose:This role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, including policies, procedures, and templates. The Risk Analyst assists in conducting risk assessments, maintaining risk registers, monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and preparing reports to support decision-making. Additionally, the role facilitates training sessions, promotes risk awareness, and collaborates with risk champions and stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices across the organization.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Enterprise Risk Management FrameworkAssist in developing and implementing the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, including policies, procedures, and templates.Support the establishment of a standardized risk taxonomy across the organization.Facilitate the nomination of risk champions across departments.Risk Assessment and MitigationConduct and facilitate periodic risk assessment workshops with risk champions and owners to identify or update risks and controls.Assist in evaluating risks (both new and existing) and assessing controls at operational and strategic levels with risk champions/owners.Maintain updated risk registers across the organization at both operational and strategic levels.Support the development of mitigation plans for significant risks during workshops or after KRI reviews.Follow up with risk champions/owners on the status of risk mitigation actions (treat, avoid, accept, transfer).Monitoring and ReportingFacilitate the identification of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) with risk champions and owners.Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) regularly and follow up on mitigation plans as needed.Prepare regular reports on risk-related matters for senior management and leadership to support decision-making processes.Training and CommunicationPromote risk awareness across the organization by conducting training sessions and workshops for employees, risk champions, and stakeholders.Act as a point of contact to communicate risk-related updates and provide guidance on risk management practices.Self-Management ResponsibilitiesSet annual performance goals in discussion with the Line Manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the year.Identifies the training and development requirements and agrees with the Line Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or in a related field.Minimum 6+ years of experience working in a related fieldThis role is limited for UAE Nationals.
