Risk & Compliance Officer – DubaiLocation: Dubai, UAE | Contract: Permanent | Sector: International Law FirmA leading international law firm is seeking a Risk & Compliance Officer to join its Dubai team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Risk & Compliance professional with 2–5 years’ experience within a law firm or professional services environment, looking to join a global organisation and take on a broad, commercially focused role.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client and matter onboarding, including KYC, AML, sanctions and due diligence.Support conflicts checks, risk assessments and ongoing client monitoring.Identify and escalate potential compliance and risk issues to the MLRO.Maintain accurate client and matter records and support regulatory reporting.Assist with policies, audits, compliance projects and internal training.Work closely with lawyers, business services teams and senior stakeholders across Dubai and London.Key Requirements2–5 years’ experience in Risk & Compliance, AML or a related function, ideally within a law firm or professional services.Strong AML, KYC and client due diligence experience.Understanding of conflicts and risk within a legal environment.Law Degree/GDL with some legal-sector experience preferred.Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.Ability to work autonomously while operating effectively within a global team.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.Fluent Arabic is essential, with the ability to use Arabic professionally when supporting GCC clients.Exposure to complex financial transactions is highly desirable.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-calibre international law firm and work within a sophisticated global Risk & Compliance function.If you have strong AML/KYC experience, professional Arabic fluency and a background in law firm or professional services compliance, we would love to hear from you.
