Risk Management Senior Specialist

Key Responsibilities:Risk Identification & Assessment:Identify and assess current and potential risks across various departments, including operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks.Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the risk landscape and determine the severity and likelihood of identified risks.Risk Mitigation & Control:Develop, implement, and maintain risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.Collaborate with department heads to ensure the successful implementation of risk control measures.Reporting & Documentation:Prepare comprehensive risk management reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and incidents.Compliance & Standards:Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management.Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in risk management.Training & Awareness:Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management practices and procedures.Promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.Incident Management:Assist in investigating risk-related incidents and help implement corrective actions.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies and controls.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Professional certifications in risk management (e.g., FRM, CRM, or equivalent) are preferred.A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.Strong understanding of risk management processes, tools, and frameworks.Proven ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficient in risk management software and tools.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
