A Saudi group is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead the development and implementation of its enterprise and financial risk management framework.The role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting strategic, financial, investment, operational, legal, liquidity, and credit risks across the group. The Risk Manager will provide independent risk analysis to support executive decision-making, protect the group’s assets, and contribute to financial sustainability.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise risk management, financial and investment risk, quantitative and qualitative risk assessment, and executive reporting. Experience in investment, real estate development, property management, contracting, or construction-related organizations is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Enterprise Risk Management framework across the group.• Prepare and regularly update the corporate risk register, risk matrices, assessment criteria, and risk-management methodologies.• Identify and assess strategic, financial, investment, operational, legal, and regulatory risks.• Develop Key Risk Indicators and monitor risk exposure against approved thresholds.• Support executive management in defining and reviewing the group’s risk appetite and risk-tolerance levels.• Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of material risks in Arabic and English.• Evaluate risks associated with investments, investment portfolios, capital projects, and major business initiatives.• Analyze liquidity, credit, interest-rate, funding, and economic risks.• Review feasibility studies, financial analyses, and proposed investments from an independent risk-management perspective.• Assess risks associated with financing arrangements, financial obligations, guarantees, and contractual commitments.• Analyze the potential impact of economic and market developments on the group’s performance and investments.• Recommend risk-mitigation measures that reduce potential losses and improve risk-adjusted returns.• Monitor financial and operational risks and assess the design and effectiveness of related internal controls.• Monitor compliance with approved risk limits, policies, procedures, and delegated authorities.• Follow up on risk-treatment plans and ensure that agreed actions are implemented and closed within the approved timelines.• Develop early-warning mechanisms for emerging and material risks.• Support the implementation of corporate governance, internal control, and compliance requirements.• Review major contracts and agreements from a risk-management perspective.• Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and regulatory requirements.• Prepare periodic risk reports for executive management, risk committees, and other relevant governance bodies.• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing to support strategic and investment decisions.• Provide independent risk assessments and recommendations concerning major strategic, financial, and investment decisions.• Promote a strong risk-management culture across the group.• Coordinate with finance, investment, internal audit, compliance, legal, and operational departments.• Supervise and develop the risk-management team when applicable.• Contribute to the development of risk policies, methodologies, systems, and reporting tools.• Perform other risk-related responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.• A master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.• Professional certification such as FRM, CFA, SOCPA, or an equivalent risk or finance qualification is strongly preferred.• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in enterprise, financial, investment, or operational risk management.• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial risk position.• Strong experience in Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, risk registers, risk matrices, risk appetite, and Key Risk Indicators.• Practical experience in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment.• Strong knowledge of liquidity, credit, investment, financial, operational, and market risks.• Experience reviewing investments, feasibility studies, portfolios, capital projects, financing arrangements, and financial commitments from a risk perspective.• Experience conducting scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing.• Experience in investment companies, real estate development, property management, contracting, construction projects, or related sectors is preferred.• Strong experience preparing risk reports and presenting recommendations to executive management and relevant committees.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk-reporting systems. Experience with Power BI, SAP, Oracle, or GRC platforms is an advantage.• Excellent analytical, strategic-thinking, communication, reporting, and decision-making skills.• High standards of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and professional judgement.• Professional fluency in Arabic and English is required.
