Responsibilities

Developed and implemented risk management policies and control frameworks for collections, payments, and remittance operations in line with regulatory standards.Managed transaction processing, deposit, and remittance operations, ensuring effective risk control measures were in place.Executed and led audits across treasury, remittance, and compliance functions (e.g., AML/CFT, sanctions screening, KYC), ensuring delivery within planned timelines.Contributed to the formulation and enhancement of internal policies, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements across key jurisdictions.Led periodic RCSAs, key risk indicators (KRIs), and control testing exercises in collaboration with business and functional stakeholders.Ensured business decisions adhered to internal policies and external regulations, balancing commercial priorities with compliance obligations.Ensured timely escalation and resolution of control deficiencies, with accountability for both corrective, preventive and detective measures.Applied data analytics to support audit and risk assessment activities; ability to leverage insights for control enhancement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.8–12 years of relevant experience in risk management, with strong experience in payments, financial services, or other regulated environments. Experience in investments/asset management is an advantage.Strong understanding of operational, financial, compliance, and regulatory risks, with hands-on experience in risk identification, assessment, control design, monitoring, and remediation.Experience in payments operations and controls, including transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, fraud risk, liquidity/cash management, and related operational risks.Experience in investment-related risk and controls is an advantage, particularly across investment operations, portfolio management, or treasury activities.Experience in internal audit, Big 4 audit, or finance controls is advantageous.Proven track record in implementing risk and control frameworks, strengthening internal controls, and driving regulatory compliance in complex or high-risk environments.Strong experience in process improvement, controls optimisation, and automation, with the ability to identify control gaps and drive remediation across business functions.Experience with NetSuite and/or AutoCount is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving business requirements.Willingness to travel 30%–50% regionally/internationally for audits, risk assessments, and control reviews.
