Risk Manager (Oil & Gas)

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead and manage the project risk management function for major Mining & Metals EPC, EPCM, and PMC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining project risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring risks and opportunities are effectively identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored, and reported to support successful project delivery.Responsibilities:Drive the overall project risk strategy and ensure robust risk management practices are embedded across all phases of project delivery.Provide leadership and guidance to project teams on identifying, evaluating, and managing risks and opportunities that may impact project objectives.Partner with engineering, procurement, construction, commercial, and project controls teams to promote proactive risk-based decision-making.Lead structured workshops and collaborative sessions to uncover emerging risks, validate assumptions, and develop effective response strategies.Deliver insightful analysis on potential cost, schedule, technical, commercial, and operational exposures to support project leadership and stakeholders.Oversee the development and maintenance of risk and opportunity registers, ensuring mitigation actions are assigned, monitored, and effectively implemented.Requirements: QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline. Master's Degree or MBA preferred. Professional certifications such as PMI-RMP, PMP, AACE, ARM, or equivalent are highly desirable. Experience15 to 20+ years exp manage the project risk management function for large-scale Mining & Metals EPC, EPCM, and PMC projectCertificates - PMI-RMP, PMP, AACE, ARMExperience managing risk on mega projects valued at USD 1 Billion+experience across project lifecycle phases including Concept, Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-Up.Experience conducting quantitative risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulations
