Hays are collaborating with a leading CMA-regulated investment firm to hire a Risk Officer for their team in Riyadh. Reporting directly to the Head of Risk Management, this position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious risk professional to gain broad exposure across investment funds, counterparty assessments, enterprise risk management, governance, and regulatory reporting within a dynamic investment environment.This role would be ideal for a candidate with early-career risk experienced within an asset manager, investment company, capital markets firm, or other CMA-licensed institution who is looking to further develop their career under the mentorship of an experienced Head of Risk.Key Responsibilities:Support the execution of the firm's risk management framework and day-to-day risk management activitiesConduct periodic risk assessments and assist in Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)Maintain risk registers, risk profiles, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)Assist in evaluating fund investments and conducting counterparty risk assessmentsPrepare risk reports, presentations, and documentation for the Risk Committee and senior managementSupport regulatory and internal risk reporting requirementsAssist with business continuity planning and risk mitigation initiativesPromote risk awareness and support the implementation of risk management best practices across the organisationKey Requirements:2-3 years of experience within risk management, enterprise risk, operational risk, or a related disciplineExperience gained within a CMA-licensed investment company, asset manager, capital markets firm, investment bank, or financial services institutionExposure to investment funds, asset management, investment products, or counterparty risk assessment would be highly advantageousStrong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, risk reporting, KRIs, and risk governance frameworksFamiliarity with RCSA processes and enterprise risk management principlesCME certification is requiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related disciplineThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing risk function and work directly with senior leadership within a leading investment firm.
