Risk Project Intern

ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Documentation Support: Assist in compiling, formatting, and organizing the core components of the SFC Type 11 application and SIMM model submission, focusing on technical risk documentation, risk policies, compliance manuals, and operational questionnaires.Information Gathering & Coordination: Liaise across internal departments (Trading, Operations, and Legal) to gather necessary data, corporate records, technical specifications, and portfolio risk parameters required for the risk and licensing submissions.Project Tracking & Consultant Alignment: Maintain the Risk team's project PMO dashboard, track deliverables, follow-up items, and critical deadlines. Act as a coordinator to ensure seamless alignment with external consultants and internal stakeholders to keep the application timeline on track.Qualifications Final-year undergraduate or postgraduate student in Finance, Risk Management, Quantitative Finance, or a related disciplineSolid foundational understanding of financial markets and OTC derivative products (such as swaps, forwards, options).High attention to details and strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Python coding skills are a plusPrevious internship experience in market risk or counterparty credit risk management is a plus
