The hospital is dedicated to creating a healthcare environment that community members can rely on for quality and continuity of care.Role Description The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune District. The RMO will provide round-the-clock medical coverage, including assessing patients, performing initial examinations, ordering and reviewing investigations, and initiating treatment plans under the guidance of senior consultants. The role includes monitoring patient progress, updating clinical notes, and coordinating with nursing and allied health teams to ensure safe and timely care. The RMO will respond to emergencies, assist in procedures as required, and support consultants in managing inpatient and outpatient care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines, and communicating clearly with patients and families about care plans.Qualifications Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.Prior experience as an RMO or in a similar clinical role in a hospital setting is preferred.Strong clinical assessment skills, including history-taking, physical examination, and basic emergency management.Ability to work in collaboration with consultants, nurses, and support staff in a multispecialty environment.Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful manner.Commitment to patient safety, adherence to clinical protocols, and ethical medical practice.Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for hospital coverage.Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records or hospital information systems.
