Tulasi Healthcare also promotes mental health awareness, professional education, research, and clinical studies to make quality mental healthcare more accessible, effective, and stigma-free.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) or Duty Doctors based in Gurugram. The role involves providing round-the-clock medical coverage for inpatients, including admission assessments, daily clinical rounds, monitoring vital signs, managing acute medical and psychiatric emergencies, and ensuring continuity of care. RMOs or Duty Doctors will work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to implement treatment plans, adjust medications as directed, and document clinical progress accurately in medical records. Responsibilities include coordinating diagnostic investigations, supervising basic clinical procedures, communicating with families about patient status, and supporting discharge planning and follow-up recommendations. The role also requires adherence to clinical protocols, infection control practices, and ethical standards while contributing to a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.Qualifications Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council..Strong clinical assessment skills, including history taking, physical examination, and basic diagnostic interpretation.Ability to manage common medical and psychiatric emergencies and stabilize patients before specialist intervention.Clear, compassionate communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Comfort working in a mental health and rehabilitation environment, with a recovery-oriented, non-judgmental approach.Basic knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects, and monitoring parameters is an advantage.Prior experience in a psychiatric hospital, de-addiction center, or rehabilitation facility is preferred but not mandatory.
