Location: Rock Hill, SCEmployment Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $36.00–$54 per hour, based on experienceSign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for eligible full-time hires, paid over 2 yearsPosition OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced RN Educator – Med/Surg for a full-time opportunity in Rock Hill, SC.

This role is responsible for supporting the education, orientation, competency, and ongoing professional development of nursing staff within assigned Med/Surg units.Under the guidance of the Market Education Director, the RN Educator partners with nursing leadership and clinical teams to assess educational needs and develop, implement, facilitate, and evaluate effective learning programs. Educational initiatives may include new-hire orientation, continuing education, in-services, clinical learning experiences, and specialty training.The ideal candidate has a strong bedside Med/Surg nursing background and a passion for education, mentorship, and professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess educational and professional development needs for nursing staff within assigned units.Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs.Support new-hire orientation, onboarding, clinical competency, and continuing education initiatives.Facilitate classroom instruction, clinical learning experiences, in-services, and technology-based education.Develop and revise educational content based on clinical needs, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.Ensure educational programs meet Department of Nursing and applicable regulatory standards.Apply adult learning principles and nursing education best practices to educational programming.Serve as an educational and clinical resource for nursing leadership and frontline staff.Support continuing education, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.Coordinate educational programs such as Grand Rounds, in-services, continuing education, and specialty curricula.Promote clinical competency, professional growth, patient safety, and high-quality nursing care.Stay current on nursing education research, clinical practices, and national education standards.Participate in councils, committees, workgroups, and performance improvement initiatives as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of bedside Med/Surg nursing experience.Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the candidate’s state of residence.Candidates holding an RN license from another Compact state must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from their state of residence within 30 days, as applicable.Current American Heart Association BLS certification.Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.Ability to obtain American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification during orientation.Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of evidence-based nursing practices.Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing leadership, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary teams.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced or graduate degree.Previous experience as a Nurse Educator, Clinical Educator, preceptor, or in nursing professional development.Experience developing and delivering clinical education programs.Knowledge of adult learning principles and nursing education best practices.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is an experienced Med/Surg RN who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and developing other nursing professionals. This individual should be comfortable providing both classroom and hands-on clinical education while collaborating with nursing leadership to strengthen staff competency and patient care.Compensation & Sign-On BonusThis position offers $36.00–$54.42 per hour, depending on experience.
